Our Chef's Dining Room faces the open kitchen where you can see our chefs work their magic. It's a private, intimate space designed to make you feel right at home — just like having dinner at a friend's place.

Is there a set menu?
Sure is! Our chef's selection is a great way to share a selection of dishes, spread across four courses. see sample menu here.
We can accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice.
How long can we stay?
Our lunch or dinner bookings are typically for a 2-hour period, with the option to move to our street-side tables after your booking time.
If we don't have a reservation after yours then you are welcome to stay in the chef's dining room until we close.
How many people can we fit in?
Our Chef's Dining Room accommodates 7 to 10 people beautifully, and can stretch to 12 guests if you don't mind being a little cosy!
Do you take a booking deposit?
All bookings require a credit card for security. You will only be charged if you reduce your total numbers, or cancel your bookings less than 24 hours in advance.
How far ahead do we have to book?
The earlier the better! As we only have one private dining room we would recommend booking in early.
Can you cater to dietary requirements?
Yes! We can accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice. Please make a note in your booking. While every care is taken in our kitchen, we cannot guarantee that we are free from common allergens such as gluten, nuts and/or seafood.
Can you help me pre-select wine?
We sure can! For larger group bookings in our Chef's Dining Room we will reach out in advance to offer you wine curation services.
Pre-selecting your wines for the day gives you more time for socialising when you gather with your friends and family. We often have access to large format bottles of wine which are perfect for larger groups.
Can I book the entire venue?
Yes! We can accommodate private events with exclusive use of Gemini. Pricing is dependent on the day of the week and the format of the event, and typically starts at $4000.
Is the Chef's Dining Room accessible?
This room is located on the ground floor, with no stairs between you and a good time. However, this room is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of our 135-year-old door frames. Parts of our dining room at the front of the bar are wheelchair accessible and we encourage you to email us with booking requirements that have accessibility needs - we'll always do our best to accommodate!
