Winemaking / Farming Techniques: The grapes for this wine were handpicked and gently pressed, with pressings kept separate for a slow fermentation. A small portion of the pressings was blended back to enhance structure and mouthfeel. The wine was fermented dry, then racked and filtered prior to bottling.
Style/Body: Light to medium-bodied with a glossy mouthfeel and balanced acidity.
Notes: The bouquet presents honeydew melon, white blossom, a touch of flint, and lemon verbena. On the palate, flavors of Buerre Bosc pear, honeydew melon, stone fruits, and creamy macadamia are evident, leading to a long, taut, and savoury finish.
Descriptors: Honeydew melon, white blossom, flint, lemon verbena, Buerre Bosc pear, stone fruits, creamy macadamia.
Pairing Suggestions: This Fiano pairs well with seafood dishes such as grilled prawns or seared scallops. Its balanced acidity and fruit profile also complement light pasta dishes with lemon-based sauces or fresh salads featuring citrus elements.
