Winemaking/Farming Techniques: The fruit was hand-harvested from vines planted in 2001. Fermented with around 10% whole-bunch inclusion, lightly plunged in the morning and night. Aged for ~9 months in French puncheons and barriques (around 30 % new oak) on gross lees. Vegan friendly, bottled December 2024.
Style / Body: Light-to-medium bodied, sleek and high-toned in flavour, with bright acid lift and a fine tannin structure.
Notes: fresh raspberry seed, cherry, and sage; as it opens, hints of pencil shavings and amaro spice emerge. Red currant, plum skin, subtle saline minerality, savoury black tea and a long finish.
